ITC (Instrumentation Tray Cable) – Used for low-voltage control, signal, and communication circuits (typically ≤150 volts and 5 amps). ITC cables are often shielded to reduce interference and are suitable for PLCs, DCS systems, and instrumentation applications .
PLTC (Power-Limited Tray Cable) – Rated for Class 2 and Class 3 circuits, commonly used in alarm systems, intercoms, security, and building automation. PLTC cables can share trays with higher-voltage cables if separated by dividers .
