    • Avoid sharp bends or crossing wires unnecessarily.
    • Keep the splices centralized to reduce clutter and allow the switch to sit flush .
  7. Special Cases For three-way switches, use two pigtails on the common terminal: one for incoming power and one to extend power to another device. Traveler wires connect directly to the traveler terminals .
